Her is a restaurant in the heart of Barrio Salamanca, Madrid. It serves contemporary food, unpretencious - yet delicious - with ingredientes sourced locally and sustainably. The minimalist, modern environment features natural lighting and refreshing arquictecture from Madrid based studio Plantea.

The challenge was to curate and deliver the whole concept, from liaising with the arquitects to the food and wine menu design, to liaising with local producers, graphic design, etc. 

In an area with often more traditional, upscale establishments, the idea was to bring about a neat change with a fresher, simpler and more dynamic choice, without losing the refinement and elegance that are a landmark of both the Salamanca neighbourhood and Madrid in general.  

The wine list features only producers that produces accordin to a “low intervention” philosophy, that is wines made with the lowest amount of chemicals (or no chemicals at all), using traditional methods and generally without any filtration. 

The food itself can be best defined as “modern mediterranean” inspired by local ingredients. The menu features dishes such as the crab croquettes, a green mediterranean ceviche, short-rib tacos wrapped in lettuce, vegetable dips and seasonal sourdough pizzas and flatbreads.
